Chrome Version 1.0

This week Google's Chrome browser left its beta status. It's one of the shortest beta periods for any Google product. More important though, it's a big step towards getting Chrome adopted by business users and pre-installed on new PCs. The update to 1.0 isn't just a name change. There are new features too, such as an improved bookmark manager and simpler ways to manage online privacy.

To get the update, just fire up your Chrome browser and it will do the rest.

If this doesn't happen : Click the spanner icon top right and choose "About Google Chrome"; Click "Update Now".
