ZoneAlarm Firewall Fixed

Sometime ago I emailed my clients that a Microsoft Update had caused a problem with ZoneAlarm requiring the security level to be reduced to allow Internet Access.

This is now fixed with the latest update to ZoneAlarm.

The previous advice I gave was:

1. Navigate to the "ZoneAlarm Firewall" panel
2. Click on the "Firewall" tab
3. Move the "Internet Zone" slider to medium

You can now move the slider to Maximum.

If this doesn't work, then you need the latest version of ZoneAlarm.

If you choose to update using the menu options in the taskbar be sure to select the free version!

If it still doesn't work then go back to medium.
