How do I copy what I see on my Computer Screen?

Simply click the PrtScrn button (Impr Pan Petsis in Spanish) at the top of the keyboard.

This will copy the entire screen to the clipboard. Then you can paste it into an email or other document.

To just copy the active screen simply hold down the Alt key (next to the spacebar) whilst pressing the PrtScrn button.

What does the Print Screen Button Do?

The Print Screen button is an often under-used key on your keyboard usually found on the top row towards the right.

Pressing this appears to do nothing but in fact stores a copy of the screen in the clipboard.

You can simply paste this into Windows Paint, Word or similar programs.

Holding down the Alt key when pressing the key copies the live window but not the background.
