Picasa's built-in email option sometimes fails (this is the option you get to send via the File --> Email menu option).
Here are the two alternatives:
1) The conventional way, by composing your email msg in your email program and then clicking on "Attach a File", which will enable you to browse C:\Documents\Pictures for the pic(s) to attach to your email.
Note 1: This will attach your unedited pics, unless you "Saved to Disk" in Picasa3. Note 2: If the pics are too large in file size to send, use the "Export" function to downsize.
2) Upload to Web Albums. Picasa's Share-function. (Requires a Google account.)
1) Select your photo(s) in Picasa's Library Screen. If more than one, single-click on the first one and hold down [Ctrl] when selecting subsequent ones.
2) Right-click on any one of the photos and select "Add to Album". Select "New Album" and name it. Click OK.
3) The new album now shows up in Picasa's Library Screen. Click on [Share], (the rectangular button right under the album name). Enter email address of recipient(s) - (you can enter more than one, if you want). In the box "Album Visibility" browse for and select "Unlisted". Note: In the large box below, you can enter an email msg. Click [Send].
4) That's it, done! The recipient(s) will receive your email msg. plus a link to your Web Album, from where they can view/download the pics. Different from regular email attachments, captions are sent along with the pics. (Regular email can't do that.) Note: The recipient(s) will also be able to view your public albums. If you don't like that aspect, you can create a new Google account and Web Album to use exclusively for "business" purposes.
