AVG Anti Virus Software - FREE

Basic antivirus and antispyware protection for Windows available to download for free. It has limited features, is for private and non-commercial use only and there is no user support.

AVG Anti-virus offers a free version of their software that is easy to use, low use of system resources, has an automatic update functionality, offers real-time protection as files are opened and programs are run.

This is the software I used to install on new computers for my clients along with the ZoneAlarm Firewall.

I now install Comodo which is a free Anti-virus program with its own Firewall.Or, better still, install the Professional product:
