MegaByte. A little over 1 million Bytes. A Byte is the smallest amount of storage needed for a single character. 1 Byte is 8 bits. Don't confuse 1MB (megabyte) with 1Mb (megabit). I bit is the smallest amount of storage and can only contain either '0' or '1'.
